1. Services Provided
Altitude Estate Collective offers estate sale services, including but not limited to item appraisal, pricing, staging, marketing, sale management, downsizing assistance, and post-sale cleanouts. The scope of services will be detailed in a written agreement before the start of any project.
2. Client Responsibilities

Ownership Confirmation: The client confirms ownership of all items provided for sale or has legal authorization to sell them.

Access: The client agrees to provide Altitude Estate Collective access to the property and items to be sold at agreed-upon times.

Accurate Information: The client is responsible for providing accurate details regarding the history, condition, and value of items for sale.
3. Pricing and Commission

Pricing: Altitude Estate Collective will price items based on market research, condition, and expert appraisal.

Commission: A percentage of the total sale revenue will be retained as a commission. This rate will be outlined in the service agreement.

Payment Schedule: Net proceeds, minus commission and any agreed-upon fees, will be paid to the client within 7 business days after the sale concludes.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled sale date.

Altitude Estate Collective reserves the right to reschedule sales due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, emergencies, or safety concerns.
5. Liability

Loss or Damage: While Altitude Estate Collective takes every precaution to safeguard items, we are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage during the appraisal, staging, or sale process unless caused by gross negligence.

Property: The client is responsible for ensuring the property is safe and free from hazards for staff and buyers.
6. Unsold Items
Items that remain unsold at the conclusion of the sale will be handled as agreed in the service contract. Options include donation, disposal, or client retrieval.
7. Confidentiality
Altitude Estate Collective respects the privacy of our clients. All personal and sensitive information shared with us will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
8. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action. Any legal claims will be handled in accordance with the laws of the state where the sale took place.
9. Amendments
Altitude Estate Collective reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes before they take effect.
